Was - Wedjat

Was

A forked staff which ended in an animal-like head, probably a canid. It was often carried by the gods and was a sign of power. In the Middle Kingdom it was placed in tombs to ensure divine prosperity for the deceased, and later it was also used on coffins. The emblem of Thebes included a was-sceptre with ribbons, thus the ancient name of Waset.

Wedjat

The Eye of Horus, according to myth stolen by Set but retrieved and healed by Djehuty. It was frequently used as an amulet for protection and signified power of Heru.
