Philae, Around the Temple Grounds

Let´s take a tour around the building...


The First Courtyard and the First Pylons.
The portal to the right leads...



...out to the eastern side, bathing in morning light.
The rubble of stones in the foreground I 'think' are the remains of the enclosure wall.
The portal set in the wall....


... leads through the inner eastern colonnade
across the Inner Courtyard to the Mammisi.



A little further along, an interesting perspective of the two pylon towers.



The backside behind which wall the Sanctuary is situated.
The little 'cages' you see on the ground all around the building are the lights
used at the Sound & Light Show.
