Yet another beautiful relief. Who´s the female lionheaded goddess? Sekhmet/Mut? In a small room in the Horus part; another series of Nome deities carrying their offerings forward. Contrasts between the dark inside of the temple and the daylight outside. Always a subject for fascination whether seen from inside out as above or.... ... outside looking in. This little Shrine of Hathor houses two small mummified crocodiles. We have stayed too long... sunset is soon at hand. More Photos
